We also provide Marine Claims Advisory to the leading insurance markets of S.E. Asia, Japan, London, Scandinavia and Australasia. MCO Indonesia is headquartered in Jakarta. We offer the market by far the largest team of Average Adjusters in Indonesia. The Company is operated by a team boasting an aggregate of over 90 years experience in adjusting. We have market leading associates in London, and correspondents in Mumbai, Shanghai and Taipei to supplement our team based in S.E. Asia.
Chris is a Fellow of the U.K. Associations of Average Adjusters. He started his working life in London in 1975. Apart from 12 years in Perth and Sydney,he has been practicing as an Average Adjuster in Singapore since 1977. He qualified by examination in 1987. He currently divides his timeprimarily between the Singapore and Perth offices.
William Pang was an Accountant with an international chemical and cleaning industry and he switched his profession to be an Average Adjuster. He has been practicing average adjusting for about 25 years. He also worked with an international adjusting firm as a Director before joining Marine Claims Office, Singapore, and is presently its Director and also Shareholder.
In addition to his adjusting role in Singapore, he also assist in the overall operations of Marine Claims Office, Jakarta. Today, our Jakarta office is one of the major average adjusting firms in Indonesia and we have five (5) Adjusters working for us and soon we will be employing more Adjusters to handle the increasing adjusting businesses there.
He is also involved in giving talks to the local Ship-owners, Ship-managers, Insurance Brokers, Underwriters and General Insurance Association, on topics such as General Average, Salvage, Particular Average and Marine Claims in general, etc. He has also been giving similar talks to the Thai Ship-owners Association, Thai Ship-owners, Association of Insurance Brokers, Surabaya, and Jakarta Ship-owners.
Throughout his career in average adjusting, he has gained wide knowledge in handling complex General Average involving piracy, grounding and fire, etc. casualties, Particular Average, Collision and all types of marine hull claims for clients not only in Singapore, but also Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, China and Indonesia.
SAHAT PANGGABEAN, SH., ICAP, FIFAA
After graduating from Law faculty in University of Indonesia in 1989, Sahat joined an international average adjusting company in 1990 and gained a wide and extensive experience in handling of Particular Average, Total Loss, Bulidersâ€™ risk, Salvage and also Sue and Labour claims. He attended an intensive marine insurance course in London in 1993. In May 2012, he joined us as Managing Director. He is an Indonesian Certified Adjusting Practitioner (ICAP).
HARLAN NOVERA, SH., ICAP, FIFAA
Harlan graduated with a law degree from Bung Hatta University in 1994 and joined an international average adjusting company in 1995. He has good experience in handling all types of marine hull claims with 19 years of experience and is an Indonesian Certified Adjusting Practitioner ( ICAP ). He joined us in May 2012 and holds the position of Adjusting Manager.
Fahrizal graduated with a law degree from Jenderal Soedirman University in August 2009. After his graduation, he started his career as Average Adjuster. He is an Associate Member of Association Average Adjusters. His current portfolio includes handling claims concerning Particular Average, General Average, Sue and Labour, and Running Down Clause.
ANDREA NATHALY SITOMPUL, SH, AAA (Assoc.)
Andrea worked with an international average adjusting company in Jakarta after graduating from law school in 2011. She is an Associate of the U.K. Association of Average Adjusters (AAA) and has gained wide knowledge and experience in handling various types of hull and machinery claims including total losses, general average, salvage, particular average, and sue and labour. She joined PT. MCO Prima Indonesia in June 2016.
GHULAAM RAMADHAN, S.IP, AAA (Assoc.)
Ghulaam is an Associate of the U.K. Association of Average Adjusters. He started his career in Average Adjusting in 2012 with an international average adjusting company in Jakarta, during which he has gained extensive knowledge and experience in handling various types of marine hull and machinery claims, such as Particular Average, General Average, Salvage, Constructive or Actual Total Loss and Collision Loss and Liability. He joined us in November 2015 as an Average Adjuster.
JORDAN MELIALA, SH.
Jordan graduated with a law degree from Brawijaya University in 2015. After his graduation, he joined PT. MCO Prima Indonesia as an average adjuster in March 2015. Since then he has been gaining good knowledge and increasing his experience in handling Marine hull and machinery claims, such as Collision, Particular average and General Average.
VENDRA DENI, SH.
After graduating with a law degree from Atma Jaya Catholic University, Vendra worked as a banker before switching his career to average adjusting when he joined PT.MCO Prima Indonesia in February 2016. Since then he has been gaining good knowledge in handling different types of marine hull and machinery claims such as Collision and Particular average. His interest in hull and machinery insurances and the various claim aspects and rules of practice involved has motivated him and the desire to learn and acquire greater knowledge and experience in average adjusting.
Hera has graduated from Indonesian Management Secretary Academy (ASMI) in 1992 and joined and international average adjusting company in November 1993. She has many years of experience handling adjusting support and also involved in the collection of General Average and Salvage securities. She joined us in July 2012 as a Senior Secretary.
